Sharing is a core value not only for co-operatives, but also for hundreds of organizations that work for a better world by promoting activities that strengthen the social bonds among people as essential to social and economic progress. Many of these organizations work closely with co-operatives and support their values. They include fair trade organizations, social justice organizations, community service organizations, environmental groups, sustainable transportation groups, organizations that promote local food, and many others.Vancouver’s first Share Fair will highlight the fundamental value of sharing in making our world a more just, equitable, sustainable, and livable place.
